In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, tomato paste, grated garlic, paprika, cumin, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until smooth.
Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade and rub them thoroughly with your hands until evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Lightly grease the basket with olive oil.
Place the marinated drumsticks in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch. Cook at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Flip the drumsticks one at a time with tongs and cook at 180°C for another 12–15 minutes. The internal temperature should reach 74°C and the skin should be golden and crispy. Cook an additional 2–3 minutes if needed.
