Pat the chicken wings very dry with kitchen paper. Toss with baking powder, salt and pepper in a bowl until all pieces are evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and run for 5 minutes.
Place the first batch (approx. 10 pieces) in a single layer in the air fryer basket so the pieces do not touch. Cook for 12 minutes at 200 °C.
Turn the wings and cook for a further 13 minutes at 200 °C, until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Remove from the basket.
Place the second batch in the basket and cook for 12 minutes at 200 °C.
Turn the second batch and cook for a further 13 minutes at 200 °C. Set all cooked wings aside.
Melt the butter in a large bowl (e.g. in the microwave for 30 seconds). Stir in the hot sauce and garlic powder until a smooth sauce forms.
Add all cooked wings to the sauce and toss thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated.
Arrange immediately on a platter. Place celery sticks alongside and serve the blue cheese dressing in a small bowl on the side.
