Preparation

  1. Step 01

Place the sifted flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the center.

  2. Step 02

Crack the eggs into the well and add a small amount of milk, mixing with a whisk.

  3. Step 03

Gradually add the remaining milk, whisking until you have a smooth, pourable batter. The batter should be slightly thicker than thin crepe batter.

  4. Step 04

Cover the batter with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.

  5. medium heat

Heat a wide non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a little butter, let it melt, and swirl to coat the entire surface of the pan.

  6. medium heat

Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and tilt to spread it evenly across the base. Cook for about 2 minutes, until the edges are dry and the underside is golden.

  7. medium heat

Carefully flip with a spatula and cook the other side for about 1 minute more.

  8. medium heat

Repeat steps 5–6 for the remaining batter, adding butter each time. You should end up with approximately 8–10 Pfannkuchen in total.

  9. Step 09

Transfer the Pfannkuchen to a plate while warm, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately.
